Founder Viera

Viera grew up in Slovakia. Ever since she has been fascinated by different cultures and working styles. She studied with a scholarship from the European Union in a special program in Germany and Spain, and graduated in both countries with the highest distinctions in International Business Administration. She has worked in Germany, Spain, Latin America and in Eastern Europe in various positions in Marketing, Sales, Business Development and Management Consulting. Before founding Weastra, Viera worked at Mercer Management Consulting, was one of the Top5 Sales representatives in the diagnostics area of the swiss pharma corporation Roche and later on part of the Roche internal consulting team. Additionally, she is a cofounder of Miyow Pty Ltd.

Adrian - Marketing and Sales Consulting
Developing Marketing and Sales analyses as well as strategies is Adrian's major expertise. Before joining weastra he was lecturer at the University of Economics in Bratislava and also developed marketing strategies for several renowned brands in Slovakia. He holds a PhD Degree in Business Entrepreneurship and a Masters Degree in Tourism from the aforementioned University. Within the weastra team he heads the Marketing and Sales Consulting activities with focus on the Hungarian and Slovak markets. Being a bilingual native speaker of Hungarian and Slovak he communicates in English and German, too.

Alexandra - Market Analysis and Market Entry Management
After graduating from the Faculty of Environmental studies at Comenius University in Bratislava, Alexandra worked for a few years as a manager conducting environmental impact studies in view of major construction projects in Slovakia. As an environmental expert she joined the weastra team and currently focuses on market analyses and consulting activities. In this role her focus markets are Poland, Hungary as well as the Czech and Slovak Republics.

Lucia - Market Analysis and Market Entry Management
Lucia earned her Masters Degree in International Relations at the University of Economics in Bratislava with supplementary studies at the University of Ghent, Belgium. As a specialist in European Integration and EU Affairs she held positions in Spain as well as within the Slovak Ministry of Foreign Affairs in London and Bratislava. She brings her expertise to the weastra team in the conduct of market analyses and consulting our clients in developing or optimizing their business strategies for the Central European Region. Lucia is fluent in Slovak, English, Spanish and German.

Maria - Marketing and Event Management
With a background in Business Administration from the University of Economics in Bratislava Maria held various responsibilities before joining weastra. Among others she was Area Trade Manager for the German and Austrian markets within a major Slovak furniture manufacturer and led the expansion activities of a retail company. In her current role in weastra she focuses on Marketing and Event Management across the CEE Region. She speaks fluent English, German and Slovak.

Pavol - IT and Technical Innovation
Thanks to his broad background in IT as well as technical and technological innovation Pavol is an invaluable asset to the weastra office. In this role he implements the latest concepts and technologies matching the specific needs of the consultancy team. Pavol held positions in a major Slovak commercial bank and in a global hardware manufacturer. He speaks fluent German, English and Slovak.

Peter - Marketing and Event Management
As a graduate of Commerce and Tourism at the University of Economics in Bratislava, Peter headed his own travel agency before joining weastra a few years ago. His previous experience in the field of marketing and advertisement predestined him to take up major responsibilities for weastra's Marketing and Event Management activities. In this role he is in charge of marketing management and the development of creative concepts with main focus on the Slovak and Czech markets. Peter has previous work experience in Germany and the USA and speaks Slovak, German, English and Hungarian.

Samuel - Public Relations
Before joining weastra Samuel held various positions in the field of public relations, communication and fundraising. Within the team he is currently responsible for public relations and communication strategies. He had work experiences in Switzerland, Germany, France, Latin America and Eastern Europe. He earned his MA Degree at the Graduate Institute of International Studies in Geneva (Switzerland) majoring in European Integration and Economics of Transition. Besides his mother tongue German he speaks fluent French, English and Spanish as well as decent Slovak.

Tomáš - HR Consulting and Recruiting
Holding expertise in Psychology with special emphasis on Business Psychology from Comenius University Bratislava Tomáš currently specializes in HR and recruiting matters servicing our clients which seek to employ skilled personnel within the CEE Region. In this role he has recruited staff for several clients within different markets in the region. Besides his mother tongue Slovak, Tomáš speaks English and German.

Zuzana - Market Analysis and Market Entry Management
In her current position Zuzana is focusing on analyzing key markets of Central Eastern Europe and supports clients in their expansion process to the region. Her previous experiences at international level in Western Europe enable her to deliver high-quality consultancy services to our clients. Zuzana received her education in the field of international economic relations at Universities in Slovakia, France and Switzerland. She communicates in English, French, German and Slovak language.
