Poles are against adopting euro

14. February, 2012

CBOS institute has conducted an opinion poll between 5 and 11 of February from a random sample of 1058 adult Poles on the subject of euro adoption.

The findings of the poll showed that 60% of Poles are against dropping the Polish zloty and adopting the European single currency and 32% are for euro adoption. This number has increased since April 2010, when 41% of Poles wanted to adopt the euro.

Poland’s centre-right government is still planning enter the euro zone and adopt the single currency, probably either in 2015 or 2016.
