Defining and implementing changes in the ERP system for a major Slovak manufacturing company

A major Slovak manufacturing engineering company, active in both Slovakia as well as on the international markets, with a turnover of 17 mil. EUR, which is engaged in the production of axles and brakes for trailers and industrial vehicles, decided to use our services for cost and process optimization.

One of the fundamental optimization projects was to define, manage and implement changes in the ERP system within the company.

weastra defined the requirements for changes in the existing information system based on a process audit. In cooperation with the software supplier weastra methodically managed the development and the implementation of the production planning system which is based on capacity and material availability and which provides support for reservation of material.

Based on defining the labor standards and setting the real capacity in manufacturing and logistics, weastra methodologically managed the implementation of the system for collection and evaluation of production data in real time.

weastra also led the implementation and management of changes in individual modules of the information system and coordinated the cooperation between the client and the company software administrator in the form of project management.
